Stage 2 of the Blooming Lawns 2022-2023 campaign has started in the Mikhailovsky Garden<\/h4>\n

At the end of April, crocuses and daffodils bloomed in the Mikhailovsky Garden,
\nplanted as part of the Blooming Lawns charity event.<\/h4>\n

The first stage took place in the Mikhailovsky Garden in October 2022 and was the first
\nan event to plant 2,000 flower bulbs in the lawns of the gardens of the Russian Museum.
\nThe landing was carried out by representatives of sponsoring companies.<\/h4>\n

Now in the Mikhailovsky Garden there is a mass flowering of crocuses. Bloom
\ndaffodils are expected a little later, in early to mid-May.<\/h4>\n

Mikhailovsky Garden occupies about 10 hectares in the city center, of which about 1000
\nmeters are flower beds. This is one of the rarest monuments of landscape
\narchitecture of the 18th – the first third of the 19th centuries. and a brilliant example of architectural
\nthe unity of the building and the natural landscape, created according to the plan of Karl Rossi. The appearance of the garden is designed in the traditions of the 18th and 19th centuries, so the choice of plants
\nlimited by historical requirements.<\/h4>\n

The first plantings of flowering bulbous plants appeared in the imperial gardens in
\nearly 18th century. Bulbs of tulips, crocuses,
\nlilies, daffodils, hazel grouse. Later, Peter I regularly ordered plants
\nvarious varieties from Holland.<\/h4>\n

The campaign is supported by:
\nSeverstal PJSC, Power Machines JSC, Lenta LLC, SVEZA-Les LLC, Skandinavia and Skandinavia AVA-PETER clinic chains<\/h4>\n
