The author writes about the Summer Garden: “it pleases with cleanliness and health.” The gardener Peter Kondratyevich Lobanov is looking after the garden. The author also mentions the repair of buildings and roads in the city. Describes Daniil Markovich and improving the nutrition of Leningraders. Quote: “In the Pediatric Institute, children are given strawberries for their third …”. The correspondent of the Pravda newspaper also visited an ice cream factory, where three varieties of ice cream were produced.
The whole article is permeated with optimism – Leningrad survived, the city is alive.
