Let’s open the curtain of the museum mystery and find out who the GARDENS OF THE RUSSIAN MUSEUM are.

As you understand, the Russian Museum is a huge structure, almost a separate city, which has not only guides and caretakers of the halls, but also researchers, restorers, curators, translators, accountants and many many others.

But we would like to tell you about GARDENS.

GARDENS OF THE RUSSIAN MUSEUM is a branch of the “Summer Garden, Mikhailovsky Garden and Green Areas of the Museum”. About 30 people work in the Branch, who daily monitor the condition of the Summer and Mikhailovsky Gardens, the Engineering Square, the gardens of the Marble Palace and the House of Peter I. Branch employees control not only the appearance of green areas, but also do internal work hidden from the eyes of visitors.

There are 3 departments in our structural subdivision, which include several sectors: the sectors of operation of the Summer and Mikhailovsky Gardens, the landscape sector, the sector of accounting and monitoring, the socio-cultural sector, the sector of the fountain complex and the economic sector.

We will talk about each of them in more detail in the next posts, do not miss #Garden_Man
