MANCHURAN NUT
On the territory of the gardens of the Russian Museum you can find the harvest of MANCHURAN NUT.
Natural habitat: Russian Far East, China, Taiwan. Used for alley and group plantings in parks, gardens and boulevards. Walnut grows almost everywhere: Komsomolsk-on-Amur – Irkutsk – Krasnoyarsk – Novosibirsk – Tyumen – Yekaterinburg. St. Petersburg is no exception.
Now you can find ripe walnut fruits in our gardens, in terms of nutritional value and taste, they are not inferior to walnuts. They are used for confectionery and eaten fresh.
