The traditional winter festival “Veselyaya Maslenitsa” will be held in the Mikhailovsky Garden near the Rossi Pavilion on February 17, 2018, from 12 to 14 hours.
An interesting and diverse program awaits children and adults: the performance of the puppet theater “Balaganchik” with the play “Petrushka”, the theatrical studio of the Ethnographic Museum “Epos”, as well as games with fairy-tale characters, tug-of-war, carousel, and, of course, tasty awards for participation and success in games.
Special guests at the festival will be true friends from the team “Dobropyosya.” Trained dogs, under the guidance of coaches, will show a group work – walking nearby, turning around by command, “sit” and “lie” and so on, and tricks – group and individual.
During the holiday Charitable Foundation “In Search of Harmony” organizes a charity bazaar. Collected from the sale of toys and books, funds will be used to implement inclusive programs aimed at the artistic development and adaptation of children and adults with disabilities in the museum environment.
The holiday “Merry Maslenitsa” was prepared by the Department of Social and Cultural Communications of the Russian Museum with the participation of the Charity Fund “In Search of Harmony”.
