Watching an extremely mobile bird, and even during the mating season, is a very difficult task. To do this, you need several pairs of eyes, dozens of hands and the stone patience of a photographer who takes pictures of birds.

This year everything has to be done by one person. Therefore, while ornithologists helping us cannot visit the gardens, we will publish a list of these specialists.

Students of the Russian State Pedagogical University named after A.I. Herzen, St. Petersburg State Technical University CM. Kirov defended 3 final qualifying works based on the results of studying the avifauna of the Summer and Mikhailovsky Gardens and one work on the study of birds in all territories under the subordination of the Russian Museum. At present, at least 4 graduate works are being prepared for the defense of the ecological and population characteristics of tits studied on the territory of the Summer Garden.
