The bunny that came to the Summer Garden last week inspired the subscriber Lyudmila Bagryanskaya to write a poem
Who would have thought, who would have known –
the hare came running at night!

Along the Fontanka and along the Nevka,
through the fence, as if from a cage.
Maybe someone whispered to him
about the desire to be in the garden –
the only one, where are the roses? ..
Night, mild frosts.
And no footsteps are heard.
But footprints in the fluffy snow
hare – like letters in a book!
And the iron fence pattern
slipped, hesitated as if …
Did your eyes fall into that age?
Who would be looking for gray
either remembered or waited…
Who would love him
as a creation of higher powers …
Turned around, looked
eye gleamed like a coin.
The hare is let into the unknown.
In snowy thoughts, the area slumbers.
