The stage of sheltering the sculpture in the Summer Garden will begin very soon. This is one of the oldest garden rules, dating back to the time of Empress Anna Ioannovna, that is, from the first half of the 18th century. Then the statues were wrapped in canvas. Centuries ago, the sculptor Vasily Demut-Malinovsky proposed the use of wooden cases, which more securely preserve fragile art.

Now, a combined principle is used to cover the sculpture: first, the statues and busts are wrapped in cotton cloth, then covered with personal wooden cases.
