SPRING PRIMROSA FLOWERS IN THE GARDEN
Spring primrose (Primula veris) blooms in the Mikhailovsky Garden. It grows on the edges and forest glades, the outskirts of meadows, in light small-leaved forests.
It is rare on the Karelian Isthmus and in the northeastern regions of the region. Flowering plants are clearly visible along the highway going from St. Petersburg to the southern regions of the region – Gatchinsky, Luzhsky, Tosnensky. Many varieties of primroses are cultivated in gardens and parks. Flower shops also often sell primrose cultivars.
In our gardens, this plant is cultivated, but it can also be found at the edge of the forest, do not be surprised
