On June 2 at 12:00, after a year’s break, free botanical excursions begin in the Red Garden Bosquet of the Summer Garden. On excursions, visitors will learn the history of spicy, medicinal and vegetable crops that were grown in the gardens of St. Petersburg at the beginning of the 18th century. Tours have been running since 2012 and are very popular with visitors.

The excursions are conducted by the head of the sector of socio-cultural development of gardens of the Russian Museum Viktor Melnikov.
