– (fr. bosquet – grove, a group of trees in the garden)
In Peter’s time, the Dolphin Cascade and a small flower parterre were located on the site. The idea to create this bosquette belonged to Jean Baptiste Alexandre Leblond.

The cascade was built according to the design of the French master Nicolo Pino and is richly decorated with lead gilded sculptures of his own work (the entire structure was destroyed in the period 1777 – 1786).

In 1786, the cascade was finally dismantled, and in 1855, a monument to the fabulist Ivan Andreevich Krylov by the sculptor Pyotr Klodt was erected on the site of the cascade.
