As our subscribers correctly wrote, this is a white nettle, or dull nettle, or dragolyub, or prune grass. In 1753, Karl Linnaeus called this plant Lamium album L. from the Greek – “lamia”, by the similarity of the corollary’s throat with the open mouth of the fish. The plant belongs to the family Lamiaceae, or Labret. The name “clover” comes from the color of the corolla of the flower – clear, white.

White Lamb is used as a food plant, its young leaves are added to salads as a substitute for spinach. In folk medicine, deaf nettle is used in the treatment of a number of diseases. Like all blue-lipped cotoneaster is a good honey plant. And probably many in childhood from the large flowers of this plant sucked out sweet nectar. Such an inconspicuous and weedy plant can be used in early spring as a source of vitamins, because garden beds are still empty.
