Dear friends, on the day when the old New Year is celebrated in Russia, we would like to share some good news.

Everyone remembers the story of a squally wind that swept over the city on September 10, 2020. During this storm, an old-growth maple fell on the parterre of the Summer Garden. When the tree fell, it destroyed a large porcelain vase set up to decorate the parterre. The question arose about recreating this loss. Lukoil responded to the call of the Russian Museum by sponsoring the production of two porcelain vases. The first vase was received on the eve of the New Year, and yesterday, on the eve of the Old New Year, the second vase arrived in the Summer Garden. Vases were recreated by Pallada LLC. The vases were made according to historical drawings and archaeological artifacts found in the land of the Summer Garden. Wonderful New Year’s gifts for the Summer Garden turned out!

In the spring, the vases will be assembled and re-installed on the front parterre of the Summer Garden. And visitors will be able to admire the beauty of the parterre in all its details.

May there be more fun stories and fewer lockdowns in the Old Style New Year.
