Today in the Summer Garden, the final and very important stage of preparation for the spring meeting with visitors took place – the opening of the sculpture after the winter “hibernation”. Special wardrobe trunks installed on more than 90 sculptures in the garden reduce the risk of deformation and damage during temperature changes during the cold season. In the process of opening, each sculpture is carefully examined by specialists, and after the final removal of the protection, it is washed. Thus, it takes on a formal look.

And, of course, we remind you that the Russian Museum Gardens will reopen their doors to visitors on May 1, in less than a week.
