In the silence of the summer garden’s bosquets, where only birds are currently walking, yellow flowers have blossomed. These are Ficaria verna, Gagea lutea and G. minima (we add a bit of scientific botanical rigor and we will not write the full generic name if it has already been used in the text). In simple Russian, this is spring chistik and two types of goose bows: yellow and small.

These species have been growing on the territory of the garden since its foundation, because they spend most of their development cycle in the ground. Chistyak in the form of roots with nodule thickenings, and onions in the form of bulbs. Plants easily tolerate digging of their habitats, but do not form a dense cover of the earth next spring. Therefore, the presence of a dense bright yellow carpet of these plants on a spring lawn is an indicator that the lawn ecosystem has come to a state of stable equilibrium. And employees of the Russian Museum Museum Accounting and Monitoring Sector always note the abundant and dense flowering of these plants.

The summer garden has not yet received visitors, we try to inform you as often as possible in detail about the events taking place in the gardens. Do not be ill.

We continue to take in the comments photos of plants that you can take within a radius of one hundred meters from your home.
