“Symphony of light and color” – a series of master classes on lighting in landscape design and architecture in the “Aptekarsky garden.”

Since September 25, on Tuesdays, in the Botanical Garden of the Moscow State University “Aptekarsky Garden” on Prospect Mira 26 will be a series of master classes from the best specialists in landscape lighting.

Kira Chekalin and Andrey Koroviansky, Gleb Kalyuzhnik and Ilya Polikarpov, Olga Mironova and Sergei Sizy will talk about the influence of light and color on the appearance and perception of the garden, as well as on the growth, flowering and fruiting of plants. And in addition, in practice, demonstrate the possibilities and nuances of lighting the garden.

Each meeting of the project is dedicated to its section of the great art of creating light paintings in a natural frame and smoothly prepares for the next. Guests will not only learn how to turn the modest landscape of a country house, cottage, manor into a spectacular romantic, lyrical or bright festive corner, but they can also – with their own hands – highlight the crown or trunk of a tree, and estimate how, literally one turn of the lantern, you can change or create a garden mood.

Every evening of landscape meetings that will take place, perhaps, in the most beautiful space of the Aptekarsky garden – the Subtropical greenhouse – has its own special color that will be reflected in the subject of the event and in the dress code for the guests.
