Two covered intersecting alleys, forming a cross in the plan. There is a fountain in the center. It was originally decorated with the sculpture “Faith” by Antonio Corradini (now lost).

During the reconstruction of the fountain in 2010, a copy of the “Nereid” sculpture was installed. The original sculpture, created by the sculptor Antonio Corradini, is kept in the halls of the Mikhailovsky Castle.

According to ancient mythology, Nereids are sea nymphs, the patroness of sailors, protecting them on long voyages.
