In September 2020, within the framework of the project “All-Russian oak grove of Emperor Peter the Great” in Lodeynoye Pole, three seedlings were planted grown from acorns of an oak, which is a “Tree – a monument of wildlife”.

In March, there was already a publication about seedlings under snow cover. And today a spring photo report about their condition was sent from Lodeynoye Pole. All three oak trees overwintered well. The buds and bark of the seedlings are not damaged by frost. The wind and hares did not damage the shoots.

The workers of the gardening economy, under the guidance of the master Ksenia Strong, freed the oak trees from their winter shelter. Spring photographs clearly show the protection of seedlings from external influences, which was built by caring gardeners.

We are waiting for photos of leafy Petrovsky oaks.
We invite the rest of the project participants to send photos of your oak trees.
