We are pleased to announce that this month one of the most popular magazines, FLORICULTURE, published an article about our event held in May 2023.

A festive event in the garden was the exhibition floristic project “Primrose Auricula Theatre”, dedicated to the flowering of some of the most amazing and bizarre primroses.

Primrose is a well-known and popular garden plant. It is very loved by gardeners for its early and bright flowering. Most types of primroses are unpretentious and easily grow in the garden, delighting their owners. Primroses are also amazing due to “farina” – a white powdery coating (translated from Latin as “flour”), which can form on both individual and all parts of the plant. This is one of those features, “tricks”, for which many collectors fall in love with these fragile spring flowers!

The project “Theater of Primrose Auriculus” took place thanks to the collector Tatyana Pervozvanskaya and the author of the idea – the chief curator of the gardens of the Russian Museum, Alexandra Alekseeva.
