The painting by Anna Petrovna Ostroumova-Lebedeva depicts the sculpture “Antinous”, which adorned the site “Etual” until the end of the 1950s.

Anna Petrovna returned several times to depicting this view of the Summer Garden. First, in 1931, on a tinted drawing “Leningrad. Summer Garden. Fog”. During the siege of Leningrad, a postcard was made from Anna Petrovna’s drawing, which was printed in 1942-1943.

The sculpture “Antinous”, standing on the site “Etoile”, can be seen in photographs of the Summer Garden in 1911 and 1957.
