I would like to introduce to the subscribers a group of our little helpers. These are insects from the genus Bombus, or just bumblebees.

From early spring until the first frost, these workers pollinate the plants growing in the gardens of the Russian Museum.
Bumblebees are working hard trying to take advantage of the last warm days. But now they are no longer as vigorous as in summer. And in the morning and in inclement weather, bumblebees just sit on flowers in a daze.

As you walk through the gardens, look out for these cute, barrel-like insects. Enjoy your walks.
