We present to you a lithograph showing the embankment along the Nevsky fence of the Summer Garden. The author of this work is Aleksandrov Pavel Alekseevich. He made this lithograph in 1822 for the then popular albums with views of St. Petersburg, intended for foreigners.

Almost two hundred years have passed. On the embankment, the public also walks, admiring the fence of the Summer Garden. The same busy traffic, only instead of horse-drawn carriages, cars, and instead of sailing ships – pleasure boats. The Nevskaya Ograda and the Summer Garden behind it are still beautiful.

Enjoy your walks in the gardens of the Russian Museum.
