We present you a lithograph depicting the embankment along the Neva fence of the Summer Garden. The author of this work is Aleksandrov Pavel Alekseevich. He made this lithograph in 1822 for the then popular albums with views of St. Petersburg, intended for foreigners.

Two hundred years have passed. The public also walks along the embankment, admiring the fence of the Summer Garden. The same busy traffic, only cars instead of horse-drawn carriages, and pleasure boats instead of sailboats. The Neva fence and the Summer Garden behind it are still beautiful.

Enjoy your walks in the gardens of the Russian Museum.
