Every family has old photographs. They are inherited from the older generation to the younger. We always look at old yellowed pictures with pleasure, because our life is fleeting and what yesterday seemed eternal and indestructible, tomorrow can turn into memories.

Family photos become even more valuable over the years, because with them we can return to the past.

A subscriber of our group, Natalya Pribytok, sent her family photos (approximately 1946). The picture shows her grandfather for a walk in the Summer Garden. We decided to share these photos with you.

If suddenly in your house, just like Natalia, there are archival photographs of the gardens of the Russian Museum, post them and mark our account (or send us in private messages), and we will be happy to share your story on our social networks.

Let’s save the history of the gardens together!
